Meet snakes, tortoises, lizards and learn about amazing reptiles with The Reptile Family Program begins at 3:00 and will last 45 minutes to an hour. Recommended for ages 4 and up. Miraleste Library
Designed by architect Thomas J. Russell, the Miraleste Library and its wall of windows takes full advantage of its prime location with spectacular views of the community and Long Beach Harbor. Originally a "station" library at Miraleste Elementary School in the early 1950s, it has served as a vital community hub with a wide range of resources and programs at this location since 1970. In 1995, a new entrance was created off the parking lot to comply with ADA requirements. In 2001, the children’s area was remodeled and expanded.
