Cats were important in ancient Egypt. Make your own adorable cat mummy as you learn cool facts about cats, goddesses and mummies!

Recommended for ages 4 and up. Drop in anytime between 2 and 3:15. No registration required.

About the Branch

Designed by architect Thomas J. Russell, the Miraleste Library and its wall of windows takes full advantage of its prime location with spectacular views of the community and Long Beach Harbor.  Originally a "station" library at Miraleste Elementary School in the early 1950s, it has served as a vital community hub with a wide range of resources and programs at this location since 1970.   In 1995, a new entrance was created off the parking lot to comply with ADA requirements. In 2001, the children’s area was remodeled and expanded.
